It Started With Two Men And An Old Locomotive.
Ontrak began as a two man operation servicing old locomotives and man cars for the underground coal industry. Twenty five years on we are a primary manufacturer of heavy mining machinery with three divisions, two New South Wales workshops and equipment working in India, Indonesia and Mongolia.
We are still family owned. The second generation is already a core part of the business, which is the main reason we think in decades rather than quarters.

Designs, manufactures, supports and overhauls underground coal feeder breakers, ROM open cut feeders, reclaim feeders, crawler tracked equipment and chain conveyors.
Ontrak Electrical Engineering
Flameproof equipment specialists, delivering compliant electrical and control solutions into Australian and overseas underground operations.
Ontrak Feeder Rentals
Owns and operates a fleet of underground flameproof feeder breakers available for short and long term hire when production cannot wait for a new build.
Why The Door Stays Open.
We have never believed a customer should first see their machine on a delivery truck. Our door is open through the whole build. Drop in, walk the floor, look at what we are doing and tell us what needs to change while changing it is still easy.
Nobody needs the same thing from the same piece of equipment. So we do not sell a catalogue. We listen to what the operation actually requires, then we build that. It takes longer to quote and it is the reason our machines are still running years later.
